Joyce , our lead designer, is a talented florist and a professional floral art instructor with over 25 years of experience.

In the beginning of her career, Joyce had a keen interest in European design and spent several years studying the art of western style arrangement. Later, Joyce fell in love with Ikebana - the art of arranging flowers aesthetically and earned a teacher's Diploma from Sogetsu School, one of the top Ikebana schools in Japan. Thus, Joyce's design is a combination of European Styles and Oriental Ikebana theories.

Besides formerly owning a flower shop in Hong Kong, Joyce was also a Professional Member of the World Flower Council and she represented WFC Hong Kong Chapter to demonstrate in numerous flower events in San Francisco, Chicago, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and China.

Canna began creating beauty at a very young age. Growing up in the flower shop, Canna not only picked up her mother's design sense, but she was also encouraged to express herself through flowers.

Since then, Canna has a deep appreciation for nature and its beauty, and she likes to use the simple yet sophisticated design to inspire and to create a feast for the eyes. Combining her urban chic lifestyle with the self-taught floral arrangement skills, her creations are one of a kind. As one of the designers at Mints, Canna continually expands her horizons to keep up with the industry trends making floral design fun and refreshing.

Mei loves flowers since she was a little girl. She was the sweetest flower girl for many weddings.

Before she joins Mints full time, Mei labored in the merchandising department of a national retailer . Like most girls, she loves shopping and she does a lot of buying for our shop. So if you are out of gift ideas, come by and ask her. She has plenty suggestions.
